About Health & Safety
By Law, it is every employers duty to ensure his/her employees are adequately trained to carry out the job in hand. The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 states that the employers duty to employees is to:
- 2(2C) "Provide information, instruction, training and supervision"
- 2(2D) "Provide and maintain a safe place of work (under his control without risk to health - including access and egress"
